Yes, out of curiosity, I was one of many attendents at the launch of GTA 4 in Eindhoven.
I never played a GTA game before, but I was very hyped by friends of mine (especially Jeroen). So, I wanted to get the game first, just to brag with it. I was at my girlfriends’ house and learned that there was a midnight launch of GTA 4 at the local MediaMarkt. I’m not that a GTA fan, or just not that kind of person, who will stay up late to get the game, but I just wanted to outplay my hyped friends to get the game first. So I went, thinking only 50 people at most, will show up at the launch. I was terribly wrong. I think there were about 200 to 300 people there, all wanting the game! For the experience, I joined the mass and waited to get inside and get the game. There wasn’t much left when I entered the store, I got one of the last copies available for launch.

Was it worth it? Well, for just one time it was, and the game is much fun.
